Top seed Agnieszka Radwanska eased into the Aegon Open semi-finals as the challenge of Great Britain's Johanna Konta in Nottingham ended.

Radwanska was a comfortable 6-2 6-2 winner over American Lauren Davis to set up a semi-final against Monica Niculescu, after the Romanian beat Konta 6-2 2-6 6-2.

World number 13 Radwanska topped the seedings after being given a wild-card invitation to the event and the Pole had too much quality for 21-year-old Davis.

She broke serve three times to one in each set, Davis' serve letting her down with eight double faults contributing to her downfall.

Niculescu was just as dominant in the first set of her match but was pegged back as Australian-born Konta took all three of her break points in the second.

She could not sustain the comeback, though, and world number 61 Niculescu broke twice in the final set to complete victory in two hours and 21 minutes.
