Serve Serena's serve has been incredible over the fortnight, but it was put under pressure by Elena Dementieva. That said, Venus' hasn't been bad either, as the fact that she has made the finals without dropping a set suggests.

Grass-court pedigree Venus is hoping to become the first player since Steffi Graf to win three straight Wimbledon titles, and has already won five, so her pedigree is pretty much perfect. Serena isn't bad either – she has won here twice.
All-round game Venus is more suited to grass, what with her huge wingspan that makes her a nightmare at net. Serena is not the most gracious of movers on the surface, but sheer force of personality wins her so many points. Probably doesn't have the same effect against her sister.
Weather watch Dry for most of the day with broken cloud and some sunshine but there will be a 20 per cent risk of the odd shower in the afternoon. Very warm with light breezes. Maximum temperature 26C.
