Top seed Timea Bacsinszky beat Marina Erakovic 6-2 6-1 in the Grand Prix De SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem final in Rabat.

Qualifier Erakovic struggled to contend against the World Number 17 as Bacsinszky finished the match in only one hour and seven minutes.

171 ranking places separated the two women and Erakovic was no match for Bacsinszky as she broke her first serve before powering through to win the first set 6-2.

Erakovic was not given time to play her style of tennis in the second set and the 26-year-old quickly powered through to secure her first WTA title on clay.

The Swiss player lost just one set in five matches to win her fourth career title.
