Sharapova heads WTA rankings, Jankovic makes return

Russia's newly-crowned French Open champion Maria Sharapova dominated the latest WTA rankings released on Monday, while Serbia's Jelena Jankovic made her return to the top-20 after her final showing in Birmingham.

Sharapova sits atop the rankings from Belarus' Victoria Azarenka and Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska.

Former world number one Jankovic, beaten 6-4, 6-2 by American qualifier Melanie Oudin in the WTA final at Birmingham on Monday, jumped two places to 20th while Oudin went up 86 places to 122nd.
