Top seed Peng Shuai eased into the quarter-finals of the Biyuan Cup Women's Tennis Open in Zhengzhou.
The world number 40 defeated Japan's Riko Sawayanagi 6-1 6-4 and was joined in the last eight by second seed Wang Qiang.
The Chinese number four had a tougher time than her compatriot but fought back from a set down to beat Valentini Grammatikopoulou of Greece 4-6 7-5 6-2 while there were also wins for Nao Hibino and Liu Fangzhou.
