Kanepi joins Wimbledon walking wounded

French Open quarter-finalist Kaia Kanepi of Estonia withdrew from Wimbledon on Thursday because of a foot injury, the All England Club announced.
The world number 16, who was beaten in the last eight at Roland Garros by eventual champion Maria Sharapova, reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon in 2010.
She will be replaced in the main draw by Britain's Heather Watson.
Germany's Andrea Petkovic, who withdrew on Wednesday after failing to recover from a serious right ankle injury, will be replaced by Serbia's Bojana Jovanovski.
Wimbledon gets underway on June 25.
