Japan's Nao Hibino will take on Donna Vekic of Croatia in the final of the Tashkent Open after both players won their semi-final matches in straight sets.
Hibino, ranked 119th in the world and without a WTA title to her name, claimed a 6-3 6-4 win against Serbian Bojana Jovanovski, who had knocked out top seed Annika Beck in the quarter-finals.
World number 137 Vekic came out on top in a tightly contested first set against Evgeniya Rodina - 44 places above her in the rankings - but had no such trouble in the second to book her place in Saturday's final with a 7-5 6-1 victory.
