Heather Watson is into the Hong Kong Open second round after the British number two defeated qualifier Marina Erakovic on Tuesday.
Watson, the world number 75, beat her 119th-ranked opponent from New Zealand 7-5 7-6 (11/9) in just over two hours.
Next up for the 24-year-old is Caroline Wozniacki, the world number 22 and fifth seed.
The Dane made her way into the last 16 via a 6-1 6-4 victory over China's Saisai Zheng.
