Caroline Wozniacki's resurgence continued as she booked her place in the Pan Pacific Open final by seeing off defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska.

The former world number one, who reached the last four of the US Open earlier this month, came from a set down to beat the Pole 4-6 7-5 6-4 in the semi-final in Tokyo.

Wozniacki, currently ranked at 28, is bidding for her first WTA Tour title since March 2015, but will come up against home favourite Naomi Osaka after the Japanese teenager reached her maiden final.

Osaka, who also made people sit up and take notice with some good form at Flushing Meadows, beat Elina Svitolina 1-6 6-3 6-2.

Elsewhere, Jelena Jankovic was dethroned as the champion of the Guangzhou International Women's Open by Lesia Tsurenko.

The 2015 champion looked a good bet to retain her title in China but she was beaten in three sets by Tsurenko, who claimed a 6-4 3-6 6-4 success and a second tour title.

Meanwhile, Monica Niculescu and Lara Arruabarrena will meet in the final of the Korea Open in Seoul.

Romanian Niculescu is the highest seed left in the tournament at number five after she dispatched third-seed Shuai Zhang 6-0 6-4 while Spaniard Arruabarrena dropped just three games in a 6-1 6-2 rout of Patricia Tig.
