John Isner will take Andy Roddick's career but maintains a hybrid of the two players would have his serve.

American Isner has served at 142mph in this tournament - some way behind his all-time quickest of 157mph.

Compatriot Roddick himself served at 155mph during his career and maintains his was the better delivery.

A joking Isner said: " I did see that last night. I'll take his word for it. It's better than Andy's. I'll take Andy's career, as well. I'll take the serve."

ON THE MENU TODAY

Andy Murray returns to action, facing John Millman on Centre Court after Simona Halep plays Kiki Bertens. Novak Djokovic is on Court One to resume 2-0 down to Sam Querrey, with Nick Kyrgios against Feliciano Lopez following on. Eugenie Bouchard takes on Dominika Cibulkova on Court Two.

WHO'S TOAST TODAY?

This could be the end of Jack Sock in this year's tournament. He faces Milos Raonic on Centre Court and with the Canadian looking good and being powered by John McEnroe, he could enhance his credentials even further.

HAVEN'T WE MET BEFORE?

Kyrgios lights up nearly any tournament he plays in and his clash with Lopez could be fun to watch. They have met twice before, the Spaniard winning twice, but Kyrgios is a dark horse at Wimbledon and will be the favourite for this one.

THE BEST OF BRITISH

It is a familiar tale now with Andy Murray the last Briton standing. Fifteen of them started but just one remains, with Murray facing Australian Millman. As ever, a nation expects.
