Roger Federer cruises into the final

Roger Federer cruised passed Tommy Haas in a little over 2 hours under the watchful crowed on centre court.

The former world number didnt look under pressure at all as he moved one step closer to equalling Pete Sampras's record of 15 grand slam titles. With little controversy apart from the the (late) foot fault call late in the 3rd set, Haas played well holding on for most of the match but just couldnt compete with the swiss man's form on the day.

In the Final game of the 1st semi final Federer made 3 big serves, and gained 3 match points and ended the match with a sampras esq jumping overhead smash.

Roger has upto this match only dropped six points (of 47) on first service and three (of 18) on second, a stat that is hard to compete against. He now awaits the winner of the Murray vs Roddick semi final match, due to be played shortly.
