Defending Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has warned her rivals she is yet to hit top form despite conceding only three games in her opening two matches.
Kvitova thrashed Japan's Kurumi Nara 6-2 6-0 on Court 1, just two days after her 6-1 6-0 demolition of Kiki Bertens which took 36 minutes and was the fastest women's match at Wimbledon since 2004.
The number two seed is gunning for her third title at the All England Club and insists there is still more to come despite the resounding start to her campaign.
"It wasn't really easy, of course the score looks very easy but a few games which we played were really close," Kvitova said.
"I'm just glad that I won. That's important, all that counts is the last point.
"I still have a lot of space where I can improve for the next match - that's a good sign as well.
"The next match will be tough again, and tougher and tougher, if I'm going to stay in the tournament. I have to be prepared for everything."
Kvitova will next face former world number one Jelena Jankovic, who she beat at the Rome Masters earlier this year but has never met on grass.
"It's always a big challenge to face her," Kvitova said. "She's a former number one player. It's always a little bit special.
"She always has some sort of weapon to play, especially her backhand, it's really great."
Joining Kvitova in the third round is Germany's Sabine Lisicki, who came from behind to beat American Christina McHale 2-6 7-5 6-1.
Lisicki lost to Marion Bartoli in the 2013 Wimbledon final but injuries have hindered her since, with Rafael Nadal's uncle and coach Toni recently criticising the German's fitness.
"Critique is fine, and we are actually working on that aspect to get fitter and stronger to get even further in the game," Lisicki said.
"I got injured a lot of times, so now I think we are working more smartly rather than always going over the borderline.
"I haven't been injured for the last eight, nine months. So we are going in the right direction, and it does take a bit of time. It doesn't come from today to tomorrow to be the fittest player."
Lisicki will now play French Open semi-finalist Timea Bacsinszky, who cruised past Spain's Silvia Soler-Espinosa 6-2 6-1.
There were also wins for Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska, Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki and German Angelique Kerber but Russian eighth seed Ekaterina Makarova went out after she lost to Slovakia's Magdalena Rybarikova.
