Kevin Anderson was born May 18, 1986 in Johannesburg.
He became the top-ranked South African player on March 10, 2008 after making the final at the 2008 Tennis Channel Open in Las Vegas. He achieved a career-high ranking of #58 on October 25, 2010.
Anderson has represented South Africa in both Davis Cup play and in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
