Biography
In January 2006, Florent Serra won his second ATP tour title in Adelaide, Australia, at the Next Generation Adelaide International. He defeated Michael Llodra, Tommy Robredo, Jarkko Nieminen, and Dominik Hrbaty on the way to the final, where he defeated Xavier Malisse 6–3, 6–4.
As of June 26, 2006, he achieved a career high ranking of 36 in the world. However, at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships he was defeated in the first round by Lukas Dlouhy.
