Serena Williams into Wimbledon second round

Serena Williams reached the Wimbledon second round on Tuesday with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of the Czech Republic.

The American sixth seed, a four-time champion, will face either Johanna Larsson of Sweden or Hungarian qualifier Melinda Czink for a place in the last 32.
