Djokovic snubs Olympic mixed doubles

Novak Djokovic will not be tempted to form a Serbian mixed doubles dream team with fellow Grand Slam title winner Ana Ivanovic at the Olympics, claiming his schedule won't allow it.

"Most likely I won't play mixed doubles in London because I already have singles and doubles. I think it will be too much," said world number one Djokovic.

"But I support it. Why not have mixed doubles as a discipline in tennis at the Olympic Games?"

Unlike Djokovic, Serena Williams, sensationally knocked out of the French Open by Virginie Razzano on Tuesday, has her eye on the mixed doubles title at the Olympics.

She is playing the mixed at Roland Garros with American compatriot Bob Bryan to fine tune preparations for the Olympic tennis event which will be played at Wimbledon.
