Elena Baltacha has reached the quarter-finals of the $75k event in
Toyota, Japan after winning 6-4, 6-3 against So-Jung Kim (KOR).
The British No.2 will now meet Tomoko Yonemura (JPN) as she
continues her fine form since returning from injury at her final
tournament of the year.
"I felt I performed much better today. I'm beginning to get used to
the conditions and I'm adapting better to the surface. Tomorrow will be
another tough challenge but i'm going into the match believing that I
can win and I'm very much looking forward to another battle!" Baltacha
enthused.
