Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem
The Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem is a women's professional tennis tournament held in Fes, Morocco. This WTA Tour event is classified as an International tournament and is played on outdoor clay courts. It is the only WTA tournament held in Africa.
The event started in July 2001. In 2007 and 2008, the event was played in Rabat, and prior to 2005, the event was held in Casablanca, Morocco.
The name of the event refers to Princess Lalla Meryem, the sister of Mohammed VI, King of Morocco.
