Viktor Troicki booked a place in Sunday's Sofia Open final against Roberto Bautista Agut by coming from a set down to beat Slovakia's Martin Klizan.

Serbian world number 25 Troicki, the second seed, won 4-6 6-3 7-5 against 44th-ranked Klizan in two hours and 23 minutes to set up a first-ever meeting with Spaniard Bautista Agut.

Troicki, who won his last ATP World Tour event in Sydney, claimed four of eight break chances against Klizan and reached his ninth ATP World Tour final.

" It is a nice final, number one against number two seeds. I am looking forward to it," Troicki said.

"I will try to enjoy it. I need to recover, this is the most important thing right now. It was a long match. I lost a lot of energy but it was only three sets. I think I am ready for this."

Earlier in the day top seed Bautista Agut booked his place in his second ATP World Tour final of the season with a 7-6 (7/5) 6-4 victory over Luxembourg's Gilles Muller.

World number 18 Bautista Agut, who claimed his third career title less than a month ago in Auckland when beating American Jack Sock, edged a close tie-break before breaking Muller in the third game of the second set and then serving out to love in the 10th.

"It is the best start to a season that I ever had," said Bautista Agut, who lost to Tomas Berdych in the last 16 at the Australian Open.

"I think if I keep working and stay at the level of this tournament, it can be a great season.

"The first set was really close. I had to be focused until the last point. I had a lot of break points, but Gilles was serving really well. I was able to break him only in the second set. I am happy with the way I played and served."
