It will be an all-Spanish final at the SkiStar Swedish Open in Bastad after Albert Ramos-Vinolas beat countryman David Ferrer 7-5 6-4 on Saturday.

It was also an all-Spanish clash in the last four and Ramos-Vinolas defeated Ferrer for the first time in seven attempts with a straight-sets victory over the 2007 and 2012 event winner.

He will face fifth seed Fernando Verdasco in Sunday's final after a dominant display of serving saw Verdasco sweep past Gastao Elias of Portugal 6-3 6-1.

Gilles Muller reached his second ATP World Tour final of the season with a 6-3 6-4 victory over American Donald Young at the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport.

Muller, from Luxembourg, served 18 aces and lost only five points on his serve and will attempt to win his first ATP title on Sunday against Ivo Karlovic, who beat Marcos Baghdatis in two tie-breaks.

On clay, Pablo Cuevas defeated Renzo Olivo 7-5 6-3 to seal his place in the final at the German Tennis Championships in Hamburg.

The 30-year-old Uruguayan had to save six break points en route to overcoming his fellow South American in one hour and 41 minutes and he will face seventh seed Martin Klizan in the final.

Klizan ended Stephane Robert's dream run as he defeated the veteran Frenchman 6-3 6-4.

From 1-4 down in the second set, Klizan reeled off the final five games of the match when it looked like the 36-year-old would force a third-set decider.
