Murray in no rush over new coach

Andy Murray will wait until after his US Open title bid to find a replacement for former coach Miles Maclagan.
Murray and Maclagan parted company at the end of July, but the British number one has been in no hurry to appoint a successor as he seeks a first grand slam title in New York. The 23-year-old is still advised by Alex Corretja - whose role was the source of the disagreement between Murray and Maclagan - while his mother Judy is also on hand to scout future opponents.
"I feel fine," Murray said at his pre-tournament press conference. "I have had a few weeks on my own. I have Alex Corretja with me this week and then I will decide what I'm going to do after the tournament is finished."
He added: "I don't speak to him about tactics and what I'm going to do. I guess the game style you play comes down to how you're feeling on the court. But I will definitely speak to him about it (my matches), otherwise it wouldn't be much use in him being here.
"He has helped me a lot the last two and a half years so I'm hoping he will help me again here."
Murray has certainly not suffered without Maclagan's input, defending his Masters title in Toronto recently by beating Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in successive matches.
And he is keeping an open mind when it comes to choosing his next coach, with the likes of Andre Agassi's former coach Darren Cahill having already ruled himself out of contention due to his other commitments.
"Honestly I haven't really thought about it much," Murray added. "I'm going to sit down and think a lot about it when the tournament is done here.
"I don't want to think about who I might work with and what I'm going to do before such a big tournament and obviously quite a big period of the year for me.
"I'll consider a lot of different options and have to think about what sort of structure I want and how many weeks I want to travel and if I'm going to work with a couple of coaches. If I keep working with Alex or not, I haven't decided yet. I will wait and see after the tournament."
