Heavy rain delays French Open women's semi-finals

Heavy rain delayed the French Open women's semi-finals at Roland Garros on Thursday with the scheduled 1400 local time (1200GMT) start pushed back to 1445 (1245GMT).

Australian sixth seed Samantha Stosur was to take on Sara Errani of Italy while second seeded Russian Maria Sharapova was up against Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova.
