Federer into Halle quarter-finals

Five-time Halle champion Roger Federer cruised into the quarter-finals of this year's edition with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Germany's Florian Mayer on Thursday.

World number three Federer will tackle Canadian fifth seed Milos Raonic on Friday for a place in the semi-finals of this Wimbledon tune-up event.
