Davydenko advances in Dubai

Fourth seed Nikolay Davydenko recovered from a set down to advance to the second round of the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships on Tuesday.
Davydenko dropped the first set in a tie-break to France's Florent Serra but hit back to take the next two 6-4 6-1.
Fifth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga also advanced after fellow Frenchman Michael Llodra withdrew from their match after losing the first set.
Tsonga won the tie-break 11-9 before Llodra announced he was unable to continue, citing a hamstring injury.
It was a good day for the seeded players with sixth seed Marin Cilic easing through, the Croatian disposing of France's Arnaud Clement 6-2 6-4.
Seventh seed Mikhail Youzhny was made to work much harder for his place in the next round, the Russian recovering from a set down to beat Slovakia's Lukas Lacko 6-7 (3/7) 7-6 (7/5) 6-1.
There were also victories for Janko Tipsarevic over Andreas Seppi, Michael Berrer over Sergiy Stakhovsky and Tommy Robredo over Julien Benneteau.
