Andy Murray is to finish his season by headlining a new quickfire tournament at the Royal Albert Hall next month.

It will cap a hectic few weeks for the world number two, who heads from the ATP World Tour Finals in London to Belgium for Great Britain's Davis Cup final in Ghent.

The following weekend, on December 5, he will take part in the inaugural Tie Break Tens, which is being held as part of the Champions Tennis event at the Albert Hall.

Murray will be joined by David Ferrer, Tim Henman, Kyle Edmund and two other players for a round-robin tournament, with each match a first-to-10 tie-break.

Murray said: "It's nice for me to be able to play one more time in Britain before the end of the year, and this is a really interesting format which should be a lot of fun for everyone involved.

"Tie-breaks are always exciting, so to have a whole night of them is going to be great. Plus, the Royal Albert Hall is an iconic venue, and I'm looking forward to playing there for the first time."
