Forecast not looking promising for day three of Wimbledon

Weather issues were at large at Wimbledon again on day three of the 2016 Championships.

After rainfall robbed spectators of four hours of play on Tuesday, the start time on Wednesday was delayed by 15 minutes.

A downpour saw the courts covered and play put back to 11.45am, although the forecast promised more problems to come.

Fourteen games are still to finish from Tuesday, with other first-round clashes, including Britain's Heather Watson, still to start.

The official forecast provided by Wimbledon warned of "significant" threats of rain throughout the day giving organisers a further headache.

Play will start on Centre Court, though, with the roof meaning Agnieszka Radwanska, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer - against Marcus Willis - can be sure their matches will go ahead as planned.

Play was then pushed back to 12.15pm, as drizzle continued to fall.
